Abstract


The market for very large companies, while the ability of a company to meet the needs of a productor service market is very small so that the determination of the market becomes anecessity for a companyin the face of increasing competition. Market segmentationis one of strategies or ways that can be done by a company in winning the competition level.
Type ofresearch isa case study to compare the number of member savings Credit Unions Business Works RW.18 based segmentation demographic variable gender andthe amount of deposits. Statistics used werenon-parametric statistical analysis tools using the Independent Sample Test. The populationin this study are members of Credit Unions Business Works RW.18 while sampling method using sampling considerations, namely by taking a100-member cooperative consisting of 50 male members and 50 female members.Based on the analysis by using the Independent Sample Test have shown that the variance and the average amount of savings male members and female Enterprises Credit Unions Work RW.18 have the same level.
