Prediksi Potensi Penjualan Leopard Gecko Pada Snowy Gecko Farm Menggunakan Kajian Algoritma K-NN dan Naïve Bayes

Abstract

Leopard Gecko is one of the exotic animals resembling a gecko native to Pakistan. Snowy Gecko Farm is a Leopard Gecko breeding farm located in Tanjung Karang, Bandar Lampung. The business flow within this farm involves breeding Leopard Geckos and selling the offspring to Leopard Gecko enthusiasts. The strategy to maximize sales is by predicting the sales potential of Leopard Geckos based on previous sales. K-NN and Naïve Bayes are examples of algorithms that can be used to predict the likelihood of an event based on existing data. The working principle of each algoritgm is to train the dataset with aim of predicting the predefined labels. The final stage involves drawing conclusions on the algorithm that performs best in predicting Leopard Gecko sales based on the training dataset on the model formed from the training process using each algorithm. The obtain dataset includes fields such as purchase date, sales platform, morph, criteria, age, gender, weight, purchase 1uantity and selling price.
