Pemanfaatan Sensor Laser Untuk Mendeteksi Hama Burung Di Sawah Pada Tanaman Padi
Abstract
Bird pests can cause damage to plants, so prevention needs to be done properly and optimally. One effective way to get rid of bird pests is by utilizing existing technology on the market today. One of them is by utilizing a laser sensor whose data is processed by the NodeMCU ESP8266 which can move a tassel attached to an ac (Alternating Current) motor. In the research, the automatic bird repellent system works by detecting the presence of birds through a laser sensor beam installed in the rice field area so that if the bird is detected by the laser, the system will move the tassel rope by stomping (giving a shock effect to the bird). The aim of this research is to make bird midges automatic and can be monitored remotely. So bird pests can be prevented quickly. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the laser sensor detects the presence of bird pests depending on the density of the size of the laser beam emitted and reflected by the mirror glass.
