Implementasi Teknologi Geolocation Pada Aplikasi Presensi Karyawan IIB Darmajaya Menggunakan Metode SCRUM Berbasis Mobile

Abstract

Institute of Informatics and Business Darmajaya as a tertiary institution that is an expert in business economics and information technology have a vision to become a superior university based on research and information technology. Employee attendance activities at IIB Darmajaya are quite good, using a presence system such as a Fingerprint Scanner and Face Recognition. Employees carry out attendance by scanning fingerprints during check-in and return hours, but in terms of system equipment currently running, it is still prone to damage, and the repair process takes quite a long time. In addition, there are often queues when making attendance. Under these conditions, research was carried out to improve the attendance system currently running from a conventional one to an online- based attendance system so that the system makes it easier to monitor employee attendance activity. The method used is Scrum and the Haversine Formula Algorithm. The presence system that is built can find out the location of employees when making attendance, the system built in this application makes it easier for admins to manage employee attendance data, and the system that has been created is equipped with geolocation technology where employees can only make attendance in certain areas. Applications need to be developed again into the iOS system and use a combination of methods different from the methods used in this study to produce varied research.
