Mixing business with pleasure in the office romance can feel natural, even irresistible. When it comes to lust and love, the strong feelings involved play havoc with good sense, making many willing to throw caution towards the wind. Worse, having a partnership with the attractive colleague can prove all but irresistible. The workplace can be a prime spot for learning people on your same professional level who might share many of your interests. Additionally, the close proximity actually enhances the odds of chemistry between colleagues. But an office building romance is messing around with fire, and in many cases the most reckless romantic gamblers must look into whether it's worth the risk to getting burned.

One challenge for lesbian writers could be the cross-over factor. Many women will watch movies with men within the lead roles, but many men're not considering movies with girls inside the lead roles. Similarly, most lesbians will read books by mainstream authors but heterosexual people often don't read books with lesbian main characters. Reading is crucial to success but it is not merely reading but which books you choose to read.
