PARADIGMA PENGEMBANGAN INDUSTRI PETERNAKAN MENUJU SWASEMBADA DAN KETAHANAN PANGAN (DAGING)DI PROPINSI LAMPUNG

Abstract

The livestock industry as one of the economic sectors, there is a potential and strategic functions to be developed, as a source of regional and communities income. including for the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Considerating potential resource, the livestock industry in lampung has to be develop to be dominant sector. research method conducted by literature study. this study aims to analyze the development paradigm in the livestock industry in Lampung. Livestock industry can be developed through a common strategy and technical policy, yaitumelalui reinforcement: 1) the performance of the industry on the economic scale (productivity, efficiency, profitability , brek event point, competitiveness, and investments), 2) commitment and intense coordination among stakeholders, 3) resource mobilization potential and resources, 4) the function of institutional and professional associations, 5) business networks and business center, 6) encouraging interpreneurship, 7) business partnership, 8) industry infrastructure, 9) research and technological development, 10) awareness of people's behavior, 11) determination of the zoning, 12) bureaucracy and regulation, 13) utilization of waste into organic fertilizer and bio-gas. Aspects that should diperhatikanmeliputi: main aspects, and aspects industry.Peluang supporters and the threat of livestock industry is also a factor that needs attention.
